trying out a new group game about facing

our fears on the Empower Call I'm leading

curious as to what the group game is... any

You:

Awesome!! Haha sure. It's a bit of a get to

know each other game. We'll be looking at

some common fears and if we are scared of them

or not

Me: 

Gotcha. Have you led an Empower Call before? 

You: 

I have. Have been a leader for several years in the past. It's been a long while tho, this feels nostalgic leading again. You ever considered leading a call?

Me: 

I haven't. I'm not quite sure what I'd talk about or why people would want to attend, you know?

You: 

Haha I'm sure the ECM can give suggestions if you were ever interested 

And you never know until you try, right?

Me: 

I suppose that's true. Gotta “press the button” ;)

    After talking with you a few days ago about this text, I now realize that you personally DM’d basically everyone in Ascend…but nonetheless, I felt very special and giddy to be receiving a personal invite from you to join your Empower Call :) 

    Even back in March, you were encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and to simply try. Now that I'm with you, I am a daily recipient of your cheering and encouragement. Just the other day when I was down about my Accounting class, you taught me the words "加油" (Jiāyóu) which means to "add oil" and to keep moving forward. Little things like that melt my heart as your affection and concern for me is so very evident. I pray that, with the Lord's help, I can be just as encouraging to you and what the Lord is calling you to do, as you are to me :)
